Ben A Williams

Biography

Ben A Williams was born in London and attended the University of Bristol, from which he graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Historical Studies. Having become involved with student film, he began working in commercial video and started to make short movies, the first of which was 2010's The Fan. In 2012, Williams created the well-regarded webseries Tube Tube. His debut feature-length effort -- The Pass, starring Russell Tovey -- arrived in 2016. Its success led to work in television, initially on two episodes of Humans in 2018. During the Twenties, Williams' credits included Baghdad Central, War Of The Worlds, Sherwood and Six Four. He has also directed a 2025 episode of Doctor Who for Ncuti Gatwa's Fifteenth Doctor.
