Ben A Williams
Ben A Williams was born in London and attended the University of
Bristol, from which he graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in
Historical Studies. Having become involved with student film, he began
working in commercial video and started to make short movies, the first
of which was 2010's The Fan. In 2012, Williams created the
well-regarded webseries Tube Tube. His debut feature-length
effort -- The Pass, starring Russell Tovey -- arrived in 2016.
Its success led to work in television, initially on two episodes of
Humans in 2018. During the Twenties, Williams' credits included
Baghdad Central, War Of The Worlds, Sherwood and
Six Four. He has also directed a 2025 episode of Doctor
Who for Ncuti Gatwa's Fifteenth Doctor.
