Emma Sullivan

Emma Sullivan earned an honours Bachelor of Arts degree in fine art from
Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design, a Masters of Arts in
communication, art and design from the Royal College of Art, and a
Masters of Arts in fiction direction from the National Film and
Television School. She began her professional career by both writing and
directing a spate of short films, including 2009's critically-acclaimed
After Tomorrow. Sullivan then began directing for television,
starting in 2012 with several installments of Doctors. Amongst
her credits during the remainder of the decade were 4 O'Clock
Club, Call The Midwife and Silent Witness. Sullivan
was recruited to Doctor Who for its 2020 season, during which she
made Can You Hear Me? and The Haunting Of Villa Diodati.
Her subsequent work included episodes of The Watch.
