Jeremy Webb

Jeremy Webb first gained notice for his short film War Poem,
which was broadcast by Anglia Television in 1993. After graduating from
the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield,
Buckinghamshire, he found steady work as a television director,
initially on Grange Hill. Other early credits included
Casualty, No Angels, and fifteen episodes of
Merlin. Webb was then invited to direct two 2011 episodes of
Doctor Who, starring Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor. First
came the buccaneering The Curse Of
The Black Spot, followed by the season finale, The Wedding of River Song.
Amongst Webb's subsequent credits were Silk, Downtown
Abbey and Atlantis. During the mid-2010s, he made the jump to
Hollywood, where his work included episodes of Masters Of Sex,
Elementary and The Punisher. During the Twenties, Webb
directed for shows like Altered Carbon, Shadow And Bone
and Locke & Key. Having already made several episodes of The
Umbrella Academy, he earned his first credit as an executive
producer on its 2022 season premiere.
