Kassius Carey Johnson's first television credits came in 2009, on the initial season of the juvenile sketch show Gigglebiz. In 2013, he had recurring roles in both the sitcom Man Down and as Artie Maitland in Doctor Who. Artie was one of the children being nannied by Clara Oswald, the new companion to Matt Smith's Eleventh Doctor; Johnson appeared in four episodes, most notably the Cyberman adventure Nightmare In Silver. Subsequent television work included episodes of Hank Zipzer and Grantchester. In 2018, Johnson made his movie debut with a voice role in Mowgli, Andy Serkis' adaptation of the Rudyard Kipling classic The Jungle Book.
