Richard Clark

Richard Clark studied architecture at Cambridge University before he
started making short films in the late Nineties. He then spent a few
years shooting commercials before breaking into television drama with
two episodes of Life On Mars. His work attracted the attention of
Doctor Who executive producer Julie Gardner, which resulted in
Clark directing two 2007 episodes for David Tennant's Tenth Doctor: Gridlock and The Lazarus Experiment. He
worked on The Whistleblowers before returning to Doctor
Who with the 2011 adventures The
Doctor's Wife and Night
Terrors, starring Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor. Clark's
subsequent work included episodes of Whitechapel, Silent
Witness, Outlander and War Of The Worlds. He also
co-created the crime drama The Bay. Clark has a son named
Gabriel.
